Ecdisten® is extracted from Rhaponticum carthamoides (Willd.) Iljin, syn. Leuzea carthamoides (Willd.) DC, is a large perennial herb in the compositae family. This herb is another hidden jewel. Rhaponticum carthamoides extract (RCE) has demonstrated a normalizing effect on the central nervous and cardiovascular systems. RCE improves sleep, appetite, mood, mental and physical state, and the functional ability of humans under working conditions.
